Who we are

This website is operated by Barnwood Works, based in New Zealand ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms.

The product

Each Barnwood Works table is a piece of furniture: a coffee table with a hand-built miniature scene sealed under tempered glass and low-voltage lighting. Every table is built by hand from reclaimed timber, so grain, colour, saw marks and nail holes vary from the photographs, and small details inside the scene may differ between tables. That variation is part of the product and is not a fault. The scene is not accessible to children and contains no loose parts.

Prices and payment

Prices are set in US dollars (USD). Where your local currency is displayed on the site, the converted figure is indicative; checkout may offer your own currency and your card issuer may apply their own rate and fees. Payment is taken in full at checkout and is processed by Whop, who handle card details end to end. We never see or store your card number. We may correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders with a full refund.

Orders

An order is accepted when we email the confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order for suspected fraud, pricing or stock errors, or where we cannot deliver to the address given. Build times and delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees.

Intellectual property

The Barnwood Works name, logo, table design, scene designs, photography and site content belong to Barnwood Works or its licensors. You may not copy, resell or use them commercially without written permission. Third-party machinery designs and colours are used descriptively; we are not affiliated with any equipment manufacturer.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Disputes are subject to the courts there, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
